Welcome to my webpage. I hope this serves as an introduction to my philosophy of healing and answers your questions about my style of care. I would be honored to assist you in your health and healing journey.
My primary goal is to positively impact people's health and well-being. My approach is personalized to meet the unique needs of each patient. Throughout my years of practice, I've had the honor of helping people feel better, move more freely and live with less pain. Every patient and every experience has deepened my respect for the body's wisdom and ability to heal. I believe in healing from the inside out and creating a healthy lifestyle. The reward is a life of radiant health and ease. With the combination of hands-on chiropractic work, the supportive healing effects of acupuncture, and the mindful movement of yoga stretches, my goal is to help you reconnect with your body and support it's natural healing potential.
Chiropractic Alignment
The chiropractic adjustment is at the heart of my practice. Chiropractic care is more than just treating pain and symptoms, it's about supporting the body's structural foundation and nervous system so it can function at its best. I believe the power that made the body, heals the body, and chiropractic care helps remove the barriers that may be preventing your body from doing just that by allowing the free flow of information from the nervous system.
I offer a range of techniques - from traditional osseous adjustments to gentle, low-force methods - always tailored to what your body needs. My focus is on restoring alignment, improving mobility and relieving the tension patterns that can lead to chronic pain and dysfunction. I believe in finesse over force - I focus on delivering treatments that are both specific and effective, always assessing what is best for your body at that moment in time. For those of you familiar with chiropractic, I offer diversified technique, activator, pelvic blocking and drop table techniques.
Acupuncture
As a natural complement to chiropractic care, acupuncture works on a deeper level to support your adjustment. This ancient practice can calm the nervous system, relax muscles, reduce inflammation, ease pain, improve circulation and promote healing. By encouraging the flow of energy on a more subtle level, acupuncture helps to create the conditions your body needs to reset, restore and rebalance itself. After completing the acupuncture requirements during chiropractic school, I completed 2 more years of study at the Minnesota School of Acupuncture and Herbal Studies and am registered to do acupuncture in Minnesota under my chiropractic license.
Yoga Mindfulness
Studying yoga has deepened my understanding of how the body moves and breathes, and the importance of awareness in movement. As a certified yoga instructor, I use breath and movement-based stretches to help patients cultivate mindfulness, increase flexibility and build strength. Together, we can identify areas of tension and restriction and work through targeted stretches and postures to support your recovery. Yoga isn't just about flexibility - it's about reconnecting to your body, improving your energy flow and cultivating calm and resilience from within. Yoga isn't about touching your toes, it's about touching your heart.
